When can I register for the Spring Academy Sustainability?

The registration period has started. Here you can find the Link to the registration platform: https://www.forum.kit.edu/fruehlingsakademie/english/index.php. The registration deadline is 23th of March 2025

What are the rules for being absent and how can this be compensated?

Students who are temporarily absent due to exams or illness can still earn credits, if the absence does not exceed 3,5 hours of time. Absences under 3,5 hours can be compensated by answering additional questions. The answered compensatory questions have to be submitted until 6th of May 2025.

Please contact us in advance if you will be absent during Spring Academy Sustainability.

What do I need to accomplish for 2, 3 or 4 credit points?

2 CP:Participation in all program points of the Spring Academy+
preparatory reading/material for the chosen workshops (will be provided)

3 CP: Participation in all program points of the Spring Academy+
preparatory reading/material on the chosen workshops (will be provided)
+ reflection report on given questions (at least 8 000 characters incl. spaces)
4 CP: Participation in all program items of the Spring Academy
+ preparatory reading/material on the selected workshops (will be provided)
+ reflective essay on given questions (at least 8,000 characters incl. spaces)
+creation of a podcast/videocast incl. participation in a preparatory workshop (Tuesday, 18 March 2025 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at InformatiKOM, room NN), a possible follow-up workshop will be coordinated together in the group if necessary

By when do the reflection report (3 CP) have to be submitted?

Please send us the reflective report fully edited by 27th of April 2025 via email to fruehlingsakademie∂forum.kit.edu.

In which semester will the credit points be credited?

Even if the credit points are not uploaded until the summer semester due to the processing time, they will be assigned to the winter semester in which the Spring Academy Sustainability at KIT takes place.

What should I do if I finish my studies at KIT at the end of the winter semester and urgently need the credit points?
