Registration and information for students

You can register for the Spring Academy Sustainability 2026 here until Sunday, March 15, 2026.

To complete the Spring Academy Sustainability and receive credit points, you have to attend the keynote speech and the panel discussion as well as three workshops and two excursions, each of a different type. You can choose from a range of options and select your preferences when you register.

Earning credits
  • 2 ECTS: Participation in all Spring Academy programme items*
    + preparatory reading/material for the selected workshops (provided).
  • 3 ECTS: Participation in all programme items of the Spring Academy*
    + preparatory reading/material for the selected workshops (provided).
    + reflection report on specified questions (8,000–10,000 characters including spaces).
  • 4 ECTS: Participation in all programme items of the Spring Academy*
    + preparatory reading/material for the selected workshops (provided).
    + reflection report on specified questions (24,000–30,000 characters including spaces) + oral exam (25–30 minutes) or creation of a podcast/videocast**
*Hours of attendance: 20,5
 ** Requirements for creating a podcast/videocast as part of the Spring Academy:
  • Production of a podcast (e.g. in the audio studios at InformatiKOM), supported by our Campus Radio staff.
  • Duration: at least 13 minutes
  • Completed as teamwork or individual work
The Spring Academy Sustainability can be credited as follows:
Reflection report
Participants must write a reflection report to receive 3 and 4 credit points as part of the Spring Academy Sustainability programme. Reflection questions, templates and further information can be found in ILIAS.
Information for guests:

The public elements of the programme, such as the keynote speech on 23 March and the panel discussion on 26 March, are open to all interested parties and do not require registration.

Please note:

  • that both public events are conducted in German.
  • that participation in workshops and excursions is reserved exclusively for students.
